First Motorway Service Area opens. Irelands first ever motorway service station opened to the public on Wednesday the 8th of September on the M1 motorway northbound lane at Lusk, a few miles north of Dublin airport. Over the next four weeks a total of six sites will open.All on time and within budget. The official opening, which will be attended by the Taoiseacht, will take place at the M1 Lusk Southbound site on Wednesday 15th September.
