Pumps and Fuels have been commissioned to design, supply, install and maintain a refuelling facility for a new train care depot for Northern Ireland Railways at Adelaide Street in Belfast.
The site will be handed over in Autumn 2012. Pumps and Fuels carried out a turnkey project covering the storage and dispensing of diesel fuel, various grades of lubrication oil, transmission oil, engine coolant as well as the installation of a waste oil collection system and will include a trackside refuelling bay as well as a fully serviced train maintenance shed.
All under ground pipelines are double contained UPP ranging in sizes from 160/110 to 75/63.
Pressures up to 9 bar and flow rates in excess of 800 litres per minute.
