Bottom Loading Skids

We have designed, built, installed, and now maintain almost one hundred loading skids for road tanker bottom loading operations.

Our range of skids is primarily used within the oil distribution industry for the loading of oil and petroleum-based fuels. These are suitable for diesel, kerosene, gas oil, petrol, HVO, etc, and have been designed specifically for the efficient loading of road tankers. Our loading skids can be configured with up to six arms, with load flow rates between 800 and 2500 litres per minute.

Our Mechanical loading skids do not require the complex and expensive automation commonly found in main line terminals. Operators input a specific batch volume linked to a two-stage mechanical pre-set valve through the pre-set counter, enabling precise loading. The mechanical printer provides a paper bill of loading (BOL) receipts for liquids loaded through the system

The primary advantage of electronic load computers over mechanical control is the ability to interface the skid to remote office based terminal automation software (TAS) or cloud based data capture systems. This enables the highest level of loading control (with pin code access for driver and vehicle identification) , report generation, and stock reconciliation. along with constant system monitoring, remote bill of loading printing, and on-screen report functionality. The electronic batch controller accepts inputs from a range of equipment including flow meter pulse devices, temperature and pressure sensors, as well as the skid rack monitor. It controls the skid through outputs to the loading pumps, flow control valves, and emergency systems.
